- Formal (no flip flops or shorts please).
This is an outdoor wedding to be held on a lawn which might not be friendly to high-heeled shoes. The venue has free parking on site with shuttle service from parking to ceremony site.
Reception Information
The reception is also at the gardens, in the indoors (and air conditioned) atrium area up the hill. A shuttle will be provided from the garden to the atrium for the reception. Join us for food and dancing! We will have a buffet dinner, along with beer, wine, and signature drinks.
After Party
As if these festivities weren't enough, for those wishing to stay out later, we'll be meeting with friends afterward at The Marlay House in Decatur (a 3 minute drive away) after the reception is concluded. More information about The Marlay House is provided below.

Eric & Lizz
He was a nerd from the wrong side of the tracks. She was a good geek looking for love. Together they met and no evil force could stop them!
Eric & Lizz met at DragonCon Atlanta several years ago through their mutual friend (and Eric's best man) Sam. Unfortunately neither had a means to get in contact with the other and for several months it seemed as if it was just a happy chance meeting. As luck would have it, they both met again at a different event 6 months later and they've been together ever since.
Throughout their relationship Eric would leave little nerd haikus on her phone, such as the one below:
These haikus became the inspiration for a proposal video by taking the best ones over the years and animating them to music. At the holiday awards party for The Village Theatre, Eric surprised Lizz (and everyone in attendance) with the following video:
...and there was much rejoicing.
